The Pistol Small Arms Firing School offers instruction in range procedures and service pistol (M9 9mm) techniques for beginning and intermediate level shooters. It takes place during the annual National Matches at Camp Perry. The U. S. Army Pistol Team provides classroom instruction, followed by two half-day range firing sessions where individual coaching is provided by members of military pistol teams. M-9 pistols and 9mm service ammunition are furnished for all school students. These schools are a great way to learn basic target shooting skills and have a rewarding shooting sports adventure.
