The following biography was written by Hap Rocketto Staff Sergeant Barbara Hile, United States Army, earned the Distinguished Rifleman Badge in 1964 and the International Badge at the 1970 World Championships in Phoenix, AZ with the sport pistol. She became the second female soldier to earn the Distinguished Shot Pistol badge in 1971, making her the first woman, either civilain or military, to become both Double and Triple Distinguished. |
