Recent Highlights: Placed third in junior men's prone and second in junior men's three-position rifle at the 2005 National Championships; Placed second in men's air rifle at the 2005 Junior Olympics. Finished first in men's three-position and led his team to a first place finish in men's three-position at the Meeting of the Shooting Hopes in the Czech Republic.
Personal: Jason first learned how to shoot when he was eight, and his dad taught him and his brother on their shooting range in their basement. He still trains in his basement but also shoots at the Riverside Gun Club in Bay City. Jason continues to improve his score by leaps and bounds, even though he's had partial amputation of his right index finger. In the last year alone, he improved his smallbore score by 30 points. In his pasttime, Jason enjoys hunting, fishing, camping and playing Halo. He graduated form Garber High Schoolin 2005 and is now attending the University of Kentucky.
